Bonnie Dobson live-1962. She was 21 when she wrote this incredible song, inspired by the film 'On the Beach.' Tim Rose would later appropriate the song and somehow get his name on it after changing the first line. Not a big fan of his version, however...

Devo? C'mon, that only sounds "a little" like the Dead cuz it's, well, Morning Dew.

Devo never could hold an avante-garage-punk candle to Pere Ubu ...

For their first couple of albums, love DEVO . One of the things I liked most about the "New Wave", was it's sense of humor, long absent from most rock at the time . I think is is cool they covered the song, but it is a little disappointing, in that it is not too imaginative, compared to , say, their cover of 'Satisfaction' . It is OK but nothing too special .I think the IDEA of DEVO doing Morning Dew , is interesting in itself .
